The Client Benelux subsidiary located in Heerlen is looking for you as a
Finance & Controlling Manager
Your Responsibilities:
Managing and developing a small team of Financial Controllers/ Accountants
Acting as the sparring partner for all commercial topics for the Managing Directors
Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts and
statutory accounts for the branches in Germany, Switzerland and the Benelux
Balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain general ledger
Liaising with internal and external auditors, banks and local authorities
Taking full ownership of the finance and reporting processes with a continuous
focus on efficiency improvements
Ad hoc reporting and projects
Your Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of general accounting/financial reporting experience in an
industrial environment
Knowledge of Belgian, Dutch or German GAAP and IFRS
Proven track of people management
Proficient in MS Office and SAP FI/CO (HFM would be a plus)
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Able to handle high work pressure and challenging assignments
Dutch (mother tongue), good English and German (French would be a plus)
Proactive, hands-on, team-player
