Werving & SelectieOur customer is one of the leading ICT service providers in Europe. This customer provides ICT-services to international companies and public institutions, by means of a worldwide infrastructure of datacenters and networks.
As Business Controller you are responsible for the development, preparation and analysis of management information to support the financial control of IT-Operations in The Netherlands. You will advise the IT-Operations management and participate in the management control function of the results of the total IT organization. Focus on and challenge for the Business Controller is to go deeper in the information provisioning with respect to production costs of the several production units, the respective customers, margin and risk. The company has grown substantially the last years and is changing, reasons why the business control has become more demanding. The demands set for the
function of Business Controller are high, flexibility is needed, and above all to professionalize the Business Control Function within The Netherlands is a must.
- Create and explain management information on structural and ad-hoc basis, among which monthly reports, KPI reports.
- Creating and reporting result calculations, overviews, prepare explanations.
- Prepare and assess business cases
- Contributing to the development of business economical and financial standards
- Supporting, advising and challenging of management and business owners with regard to the development of profitability, budget control and KPI's.
- Further professionalize the Business Control function on The Netherlands, in
conjunction with the financial staff department in The Netherlands and the
international Head office.
Education
- Academic level (preferably RC)
- Minimum 5 to 8 year work experience in similar roles, preferably in the ICT and broad knowledge of your area of work.
- Extensive reporting experience
- Knowledge and experience in external reporting
- Knowledge of automation (MS Office), up to date with certain systems like SAP, MS
Outlook, Lotus Notes, where SAP is the financial system in use.
- Good control of the English language
- Self starter, flexible, power to persuade, strong communications skills
- Strategic and hands-on mentality
