Werving & SelectieThe Management Accounting (MA) department consists of two teams: Management Reporting & Control and Business Control & Analysis. The department is part of the CFO function within the clients Head Office.
Management Reporting & Control is responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial closing process within the organisation. In order to do so the team strives for a smooth, quick and high quality closing process in which we support the board of the organisation in decision making. Besides this, the team is responsible for external disclosure of the financial results.
Business Control & Analysis is a diverse team which is responsible for the organisation expense reporting and conse-quently acts as business controller for the head office support functions. The team has also responsibility for the coordination and alignment of the annual budgetary planning called MTP, strategic competitor analysis and benchmarking. The last main task of the team is financial controlling and reporting over large cost saving programs.
For the Business Control & Analysis department we are looking for a business controller .
Responsabilities
• Report to (senior) management on costs and FTE (actuals and forecast) relevant for decision making.
• Act as a business partner
• Proactively evaluate current processes and take initiative to change and improve
• Other activities such as defining methodology for cost allocation, detailed forecasting, advising on business cases will depend on profile and work experience.
Experience en Skills
· At least 8-10 years of relevant working experience and in the Finance work field, preferably in the insurance industry
· Master's degree in Economics or other relevant background. Postgraduate RC or RA is a plus.
· Knowledge of and understanding financial cost reporting for insurance companies.

You will be working in the MA department in the Business Control & Analysis team. Your main challenge will be reporting to (senior) management, acting as a business partner and proactively evaluating current processes and taking initiatives to improve.
